How to Store Hospira BAC Water Specifically Hospira 30 mL bacteriostatic water for injection is the most commonly used BAC water in peptide research
While sterile water is free of contaminants for a single use, it contains no preservative
They undergo regular inspections, must test each batch, and can compound without patient-specific prescriptions
Once you have chosen a site, use the alcohol swab/wipe to clean it
To reconstitute a peptide vial: (1) Allow the vial to reach room temperature, (2) Sterilize the rubber stopper with an alcohol prep pad, (3) Draw the calculated amount of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe, (4) Slowly inject the bacteriostatic water down the inside wall of the vial to avoid foaming, (5) Gently roll the vial to dissolvenever shake, (6) Verify the solution is clear with no visible particles, and (7) Store refrigerated at 2-8C protected from light
