Noopept appears to have neuroprotective and cognition-enhancing properties, but it belongs to the nootropic family of drugs known as racetams.98 While there isnt much data on Noopepts safety, specifically, other racetams, like Piracetam, can lead to psychomotor agitation, dysphoria, tiredness, dizziness, forgetfulness, headaches, and digestive upset.99 So, until we know more about Noopepts safety, it may be best to assume that it, too, can lead to similar adverse effects
