Emidio Pepe, Pecorino, 2022 OOS The palate is soft despiteChiara, the wineamker, describes this wine as the more talkative of the whites. Pecorino is the first grape harvested at Emidio Pepe. The bunches and grapes are small and they have thick skins. This translates to a textural wine. The wine is creamy, oily and powerful. It has the same pithy acidity that we see in the Trebbiano and has the same tension and energy but with a chalky texture. A special example of Pecorino.
