These tanks started the service in Swedish Army in 1939. Famous Hungarian light tank Toldi was based on a largely modified, licenced Stridsvagn m 38. Stridsvagn Tanks we also sold to Irland (2) and after World War II to Dominicana Republic (20), where the m 40L version served in the Dominicanan Civil War of 1965.
