CF680R is excellent for labeling antibodies, producing the brightest fluorescence and highest signal to noise ratio in immunostaining among spectrally similar dyes. CF680 has a relatively small molecular weight and is better suited for the labeling of nucleic acids or relatively small biomolecules than CF680.
