Unseen Memento Mori • Keum-booThere is a wooded lot behind my house, footsteps from the door. During the day, goldfinches play among the bright buds and briars. At night, my dog peers into the blackness, hackles raised, as an unseen threat rises from its den. Vitreous enamel, steel, 24k gold; hand painted, torch fired, . 75 x . 75.
