Willem Eickelberg (Amsterdam 1845 Hilversum 1920) was a student of J. C. C. Veltens and from the Amsterdam Academy. He painted, drew and made lithographs. He continued to live and work in Amsterdam until 1878. He then first settled in Hilversum, Nieuwer Amstel and Blaricum and then ended up back in Hilversum.
