Very heavy original wooden backing and a secure metal string fixing to hang. Would work perfectly on a mantelpiece with it's flat bottom, rested at an angle on the floor of a dressing room or just hanging on a wall with a vintage mirror collecting or simple alone, in all it's beauty!
