However, the Government of Canada has no plans to introduce a similar prohibition at this time. The study team also found that people who reported having asthma were more likely to be current snus users and the same link wasnt seen among past snus users, dual users or people who only smoked
However, the report states that the number of deaths was a little if at all higher than for nonsmokers, meaning the number was similar not lower for pipe smokers
