6th century germanic belt Size:L 25 cm and the gripThe belt is a replica of 5th6th century originals. Belts such as these were worn by the Germanic tribes, amongst them the Alamanni and Merovingians. The belt clearly shows the distinctive way in which both belt decorations form a single whole. The belt and its decoration have been crafted after an Alamanian original discovered in Ballingen in grave 2.
